  • Public adjusters are licensed by the state bureau of insurance to represent policyholders and ensure they are properly compensated for all covered damages.

  • A public adjuster advocates for the policyholder. Without a public adjuster, the insurance company settles your claim alone. Having a public adjuster in an insurance claim is like having a lawyer in court, we are there to represent your interests.

  • Compensation is paid out according to the specifications of your policy. Most policies are “Replacement Cost” policies. This means the insurance carrier will pay the full cost to restore you loss. Oftentimes, the insurance estimate will detail an initial amount of compensation, referred to as “Actual Cash Value.” This amount factors in depreciation and will be the initial compensation for your claim. Remaining funds, including depreciation, will be released after restoration is complete.

  • You will be contacted by one of our team members to introduce our team, answer any questions you may have, and confirm details about your loss and property.

  • To make the process easy for you, our team will file the claim with your insurance carrier. We will provide all relevant details and share claim documentation, such as a claim number, with you. This also will establish us as the main point of contact for your claim.

  • To process your claim, your insurance carrier will typically request to inspect the damages related to your loss. We will schedule and meet with them for this inspection. We will advocate on your behalf to make sure all damages are recognized, documented and covered. The insurance carrier typically assigns their own adjuster, inspector, or an engineer to inspect losses.
